2. Data We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information, depending on how you use stylesense:

• Account information - details used to create, secure, and manage your account, such as your email address, name, profile image, sign-in method, authentication records, and related account settings.
• Wardrobe content - photos, images, outfit history, notes, selections, ratings, and other content you add or generate while using the Service.
• Item and style metadata - information connected to your wardrobe content, such as categories, colors, descriptions, file details, outfit preferences, freshness settings, and automated or assisted outputs.
• Usage and device data - information generated when you use the Service, such as app activity, screens viewed, features used, device and browser details, IP address, request timestamps, diagnostics, and similar operational data.
• Messages and prompts - messages, prompts, images, and other inputs you provide to styling features, along with responses generated for you.
• Location and weather preferences - optional location, city, region, weather, and temperature preferences used for weather-aware features when enabled.
• Reminder and notification preferences - optional notification settings, reminder times, and related delivery information.
• Analytics information - general information about how the Service is used so we can understand performance, improve features, and troubleshoot issues.

3. How We Use Your Data

We may use information for purposes including:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and personalize the Service
• Store, process, display, and organize your wardrobe content and related account data
• Generate, improve, and refine style suggestions, descriptions, outfit ideas, and other assisted features
• Manage accounts, enforce limits, process requests, and keep features working as expected
• Provide optional features such as weather-aware suggestions, reminders, and notifications
• Measure performance, understand feature usage, test improvements, and diagnose issues
• Communicate with you about support, security, product updates, and administrative matters
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents

We do not sell your personal data. We may use aggregated, de-identified, or otherwise non-personal information for analytics, research, product development, and business purposes.

4. How We Work With Others

We may work with outside companies, tools, contractors, and other partners to help run, secure, support, analyze, and improve stylesense. These parties may process information on our behalf or as needed to provide parts of the Service.

• They may help with account access, communications, content processing, infrastructure, operations, security, analytics, diagnostics, customer support, and optional app features.
• We may change who we work with over time and may share information with these parties where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

Some parties may process information under their own terms and privacy practices where applicable.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, operate our business, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, prevent abuse, and support backups or audit records. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

You can delete individual wardrobe items from your wardrobe and can request account deletion in the app. After deletion, some information may remain for a limited period in backups, logs, security records, or records we are required or permitted to keep.

Aggregated, de-identified, or otherwise non-personal information may be retained and used without a specific time limit where permitted by law.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live and how you use the Service, you may have rights to:

• Access certain personal information we hold about you
• Correct or update certain information
• Request deletion of certain information
• Request a copy of certain information in a portable format
• Object to or limit certain processing where required by law

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@stylesense.app. We may need to verify your request before acting on it, and some requests may be limited by legal, security, technical, or operational requirements.

You can also delete your account in the app from Settings. Account deletion removes access to your account and starts deletion of associated account content, subject to the retention limits described in this policy.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will always remain secure, available, or error-free.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can review and address the issue.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Where required, we may provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the updated policy.
